Hey there! I'm Eugene "Gene", a proud Yooper from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I'm a mechanical design nerd who's been hooked on 3D modeling since my high school days, where a couple of CAD classes sparked my passion. Fast forward a bit, and now I'm combining those mechanical skills with my love for pop culture, creating unique and fun designs ranging from Pokémon and RuneScape goodies to comic book and anime-inspired items.
I took the plunge into 3D printing in 2017, starting with a printer that arrived as a massive 2,000+ piece puzzle—thanks mom for assembling it for me! Since then, my little hobby has blossomed into an ever-growing collection of eight printers, each varying in size and capability. This allows me to experiment constantly, turning imaginative concepts into real, tangible creations.
Along the way, I've done tons of custom design work, especially crafting unique logos for special events and personal projects. I thrive on bringing ideas to life and am always thrilled to receive new design suggestions—whether it's something quirky, geeky, or functional.
When I'm not buried in filament spools or tweaking a 3D model, you'll probably find me gaming, binging anime or tv shows, or diving into movies.
If you're new to 3D printing or just curious, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to help others explore this awesome hobby! Plus, if you have something custom in mind and want to see if I can design or print it, don't hesitate to contact me—I'd love to bring your idea to life!
