There are very few authors who impacted me in a big way growing up. As you can see in my previous posts, J.K. Rowling was one of those few. However, there was another. Unironically, his story also involved the death of a loved one and obtaining a scar with mystical powers and connection to magic beyond thinking. I'm talking about Christopher Paolini and his superb series, The Inheritance Cycle.
Taking the framework from my Harry Potter light box, I thought it would be cool to have a smaller version to display at various shows I go to to give an idea on what I'm capable of. I extended this idea to have colored lithos instead of your typical white based lithos. I thought the best way to combine both of these concepts would be to use the four book covers of The Inheritance Cycle series. Each being a different color. Below you can see it with the lights off and on.
Unfortunately, red is an extremely hard color to do in a litho form as I found out, but I still think it came out great overall.
